Mello Minions. (made for the Mellophone section of ECHS band!)

Well, this is my first attempt at the Minion cupcakes. These were given to the Mellophone section of the East Coweta Marching Indians! It sounded right - Mello Minions :)

Make cupcakes.

Color 1 container of frosting blue

Cut Twinkies in half

Put Smarties candy on (use frosting to make them stick)

Use "writing icing" to draw around the Smarties to make glasses

Draw smile

Put Jimmy's for hair (the long sprinkle things)

Place on top of frosted cupcake

Wow, what a day! Thanks to Pippi, I was able to make three delicious treats today! Sugar cookies, caramel, and chocolate chip cookies. No wine was needed for these recipes. (darn!)

Well, it is Christmas time again. I love this time of year. I am inspired to make warm yummy things to eat. Most of the dishes I make are favorite recipes. Most of them have way too many calories. Maybe I will post the recipes, and pictures. Yes, that is just what I will do. Texas Pete chicken dip, spinach artichoke dip, cookies too. Now I am off track. Cookies distract me.
I am off to bake some delicious sugar cookies. Pictures and directions to follow.

Brownies a la Michelle

Michelle loves her chocolate. Her brownies with chocolate chips are yummy!

Pizza

OKAY - so it is too hot to bake, so my blog stopped. DEAD in it's tracks. BUT - I had to make my stuffed pizza. It takes a few hours to make with all of the rising dough, rolling out, and so on. The sauce is delish if I do say so myself. Roma tomatoes, Parmesan cheese, fresh garlic, oregano, etc.
So - you start with a layer of dough, put the Mozzarella cheese and toppings on it. Put another layer of dough on it and slice 3 slits in it. Crimp the edges down and place the sauce on top.
Great. I am hungry again.

Mathew's Cookies

OK - so it has been a while. A little baking, a LOT of getting things ready for the end of the school year. Mathew is graduating this year. This is his latest contribution to the family cooking. He is a good cook, and a great baker - here is a shot of his latest cookies.
